Built in Louisiana, for the whole chain.
We are the first Louisiana company to grow, harvest, and process non-consumable industrial hemp from seed to structure, and we built the operation to keep every stage of that chain in-state.
Our story
Seed to structure is the whole idea.
Most hemp ventures own one slice of the chain. Delta AgroFiber was built to own all of it: the field, the processing, the materials, and the finished building. That integration is what lets us guarantee a grower's purchase, hold quality from seed through wall, and capture value that would otherwise leave the region.
We operate alongside two affiliated companies. Magnolia Biochar handles carbon products from hemp biomass. Hyperion Group LLC provides the sealed structural engineering,

Shawn Ledig
Founder & CEO
A structural engineer with decades of construction experience, Shawn has spent years building Louisiana's industrial hemp industry and advocating for hempcrete as a code-recognized building material.
He serves as President of the U.S. Hemp Building Association and chairs the Louisiana Industrial Hemp Promotion and Research Advisory Board, maintaining a public recusal posture on any public funding decision that touches his companies. His brand says it plainly: Dad first. Athlete always. Seed to structure.
